Use Alt Service Search

In BizScheduler, you can search for a service either on the Services screen from the Setup/Configuration section of the Hub, or on the Job Info screen as you are entering service line items. It is a simple process of typing the beginning of the Service Name and letting BizScheduler show you the list. The more you type, the fewer items are left to select from. If you type "win" you would get:
  1. Windows IN/OUT
  2. Windows IN
  3. Windows Out
  4. etc.
But when you have a very large list, or when you are not sure how the names of the products and services have been created, you may need to activate the Use Alt Service Search feature of BizScheduler. Here is a short video that shows what the alternate searching looks like:



Turning on the Alt Services Search Feature

To activate the Use Alt Services Search in BizScheduler:
  1. Go to the Hub and click the Configuration Options link under the Setup/Configuration section 
  2. In the Find textbox type "use alt" and click the [Find] button or hit Enter
  3. On the line for Use Alt Service Search make sure it is set to Yes
