Autofill Service description in Job Service Note
If you want to automatically transfer the
Default Description
from the
Services
screen into the Job Service Note, you need to make sure that your
BizScheduler
database has this feature enabled. To do this:

Go to the
Hub
and click the
Configuration Options
link under the
Setup / Configuration
section.

Set
Auto Fill Service Description
to Yes
Once this is turned on, any service you add to a Job or an Estimate will automatically copy the text from the "Default Description for Estimate" field on the Services screen to the Service Note field on the Job Information screen.
If there is no text in the Default Description for Estimate field on the Services screen, then nothing will be copied. If you have made edits to the text in the Service Note field on the Job Information screen or the Estimate screen, the Default Description will not be copied to the field, even if you change the Service in the drop down. If you want to change the Service Note to be the Default Description for Estimates text, then it either needs to be a new service that you are entering, or when you are editing the service note, click the Copy Service Note icon to replace any text that is currently in the Service Note field:
