Create a BizScheduler Shortcut for Android

Create a BizScheduler Shortcut for Android

By creating a shortcut on your phone or table, you can get directly to your BizScheduler. Using a shortcut, along with setting your "After login go to" worker setting to Mobile Work Orders, will easily set your device up to work like other apps on your device.

Using Chrome as your browser:

To set a shortcut with Chrome on your Android device, do the following:
  1. Launch Chrome for Android and go to your BizScheduler login page (https://mybizscheduler.com/{your database name})
    1. NOTE: If you create the bookmark from any screen other than the login screen you may run into security issues from your browser, since you are not able to be forwarded to another BizScheduler screen until AFTER you successfully complete your login.
  2. Tap the menu button (3 vertical dots) in the upper right corner and tap Add to home screen
  3. Change the default name for the shortcut if you want
  4. Follow the final instructions on your device to create and position the shortcut
The icon will appear on your home screen like any other app shortcut or widget, so you can drag it around and put it wherever you want. When you then tap the Chrome shortcut for your BizScheduler it loads the Login page just as if it was an app.

Using Firefox as your browser:

  1. Launch Firefox for Android and go to your BizScheduler login page (https://mybizscheduler.com/{your database name})
  2. Tap the menu button (3 vertical dots) in the upper right corner and tap Page and then tap Add Page Shortcut
  3. Follow the final instructions on your device to create and position the shortcut
Once the icon appears on your screen, you can drag it around and put it wherever you want.
