Worker Note Calendar Display

Worker Note Calendar Display

Use Worker Notes to display custom information about your Workers when viewing the Job Calendar.

  1. Create at least one Worker Note Types (from the Hub under the Setup/Configuration section click Worker Note Types)
  2. On the Worker Information screen, create Worker Notes
  3. Set the View on calendar attribute of the note to control if it is shown or not shown in the calendar view

Once you have a Worker Note with the View on Calendar attribute checked, a small square icon appears to the right of the worker's display name on both the Weekly and Daily views of the Calendar. If you hover your mouse over that spot, the Note(s) will be displayed.

By using a combination of Worker Notes and color coding, you can simplify the initial scheduling activity. For example, you may want to create a Worker Note Type called "Certs" where you specify specific technical certificates that your technician has. If the job being scheduled requires a specialist, the person doing the scheduling could then confirm which worker has the right Certs to do the job.
