Repeating Jobs Auto Repeat Conflict
Repeating Jobs Auto Repeat Conflict
When you setup a Repeating Job to take advantage of the Auto Repeat feature, BizScheduler typically generates two years of the Repeating Job and puts it on your calendar. It's very easy to setup and works great for any of your long-running Repeating Jobs because you don't have to remember to Renew those jobs at the end of a year for the upcoming year.
But since you can create jobs with many different repeating patterns, occasionally the process that creates the Auto Repeating Job runs into a conflict. The conflict could be a standard Job that you created to do in the future, but is usually another Repeating Job that has an instance that occurred at the time your Auto Repeating Job was trying to be scheduled for. The question is, how do you know that there is a conflict and how do you fix it?
Email Notifications
BizScheduler will send an email notification to your primary email address. It will have a subject line something like:

- The Worker that the Job was being assigned to
- The Date and Time of the Conflicting Job (with a link to it)
- The Date and Time of the Source Job that the Repeating Job was created from (with a link to it)
You must go to your Job Calendar and move the Conflicting Job so that the Auto Repeat process can complete it's run.
