Repeat Worker Unavailability
Once you have a schedule in place for your workers you may want to repeat that pattern moving forward. For example, you might have some workers who only work Monday through Thursday, so you want to make them unavailable to be scheduled for Fridays. You might have some who work an early shift and others that work the later shift, so you will want to block off the later times for one group and the earlier times for the other.
To set your standard schedule you will first click the [
Worker Availability] button at the bottom of the calendar and block off the times that your workers and/or equipment will not be available. (Go to
Worker Availability Mode for more details)
Once you have your week set you can click on any Unavailable block for any worker to get to the Worker Unavailable screen. From there, click the [Repeat Worker Unavailability...] button to get things ready to Repeat the weekly patter into the future.
Basic Process
First, select the pattern in the existing schedule for the number of weeks from the starting day of the week that you entered this screen from. In other words, if you have a pattern that repeats every week, then you would only need to have 1 week for the weeks to repeat of the Worker Unavailability. If, however, your pattern repeats itself every 4 weeks, then you would select 4 as the number of weeks to repeat. The dates that will be used are shown at the top of the screen.
Now select the workers that you want included in the repeating pattern. The workers that you select will have the blocks of time that they are Unavailable on your calendar for the dates you have selected repeated.
Once the workers are selected you need to decide how long you would like the pattern repeated by setting the Repeat pattern below until date. You can then click the [Find] button to see all of the Unavailable blocks found for the number of Weeks to repeat and the Workers selected. After reviewing the list, click [Save unavailability] to complete the process.
