Mobile Work Order Bill To Customer vs Job Site Customer Display
The BizScheduler Mobile Work Order (MWO) is a very powerful and flexible app-like tool for your use in the field. There are many ways that you can customize what is displayed in MWOs. This article will give you a better understand of where the specific data comes from that is used in the MWO display.
The best way to do this is using pictures...Here are 2 jobs that we will work with. Both jobs are for Apex Property Management. The first job is scheduled to be done at their company office, while the second job will be done at a Job Site that is linked to their company office customer record. Remember, BizScheduler is highly customizable, so the examples below may not look quite like your BizScheduler installation, but the concepts are the same.
If we were doing these two jobs back-to-back they might look like this on the calendar:
On the Job Info Screen, the first Job would look like this:
And the Mobile Work Order for the first job would look like this:
On the Job Info Screen for the second Job would look like this:
And the Mobile Work Order for the second job would look like this:
The most important thing for you to understand when looking at the data on the Mobile Work Order is that it's focus is the LOCATION that the JOB IS PERFORMED AT. This is especially important when working with Job Sites. The only information that relates to the Bill To Customer Record will be found under the job's Heading Block (the green block you click on to see the Job details) and any Map or Clock In/Clock Out buttons.
So, when you are working with Job Sites be sure to include the information needed at the Job Site Customer Record that will be needed on your Mobile Work Orders when performing your services.
