When you have duplicate customers in BizScheduler you will want to Merge them together to maintain the integrity of your history and basically do a better job of serving your customer. The following video will walk you through the process.
The basic steps:
Go to Customers and Find the Customer Record that you want to merge everything into (the Primary Customer).
Click the Check for Duplicates button at the bottom of the screen.
BizScheduler will search for customers that appear to be duplicates.
If it doesn't find what you are looking for, you may need to edit the other customer record to make it a bit more of a match. For example, if you have duplicate customers because they moved and were entered at their new address, you can go in and make both records have the same address to force BizScheduler to see them as duplicates.
Identify the record that is the duplicate record (if there are multiple options found) and then click the Resolve Now button to see how the two records match up.
Make any changes to the data that you want to ensure that the final merged data has the best of both Customer Records and then click the Merge Now button to complete the process.
If there are still more possible duplicates, you can select the next potential duplicate listed and repeat the process to Resolve and Merge the customers.
