Making an Area Active/Inactive

Making an Area Active/Inactive

Once an Area has been used for scheduling jobs and other activity, it should not be deleted. This way the historical integrity of your data is preserved. You can reschedule all of the jobs (and other activities) to another Area and then delete the Area you no longer want, or you can set the Area to an "inactive" status--the preferred and easier method.

To make an Area "inactive," or to make it "active" again, do the following:

  1. Go to the Hub and click the Areas link under the Setup / Configuration section
  2. On the Areas screen you will see all Areas currently configured for your BizScheduler
  3. If the Area is Active, it will have a check mark in the Active column
  4. Click the name of the Area you wish to change
  5. Click the Active checkbox
  6. After making changes, click the [Save] or [Save & Return] button
