Inventory Control with BizScheduler and QuickBooks

BizScheduler helps you with inventory control in QuickBooks as you include Inventory Items as line items in your BizScheduler Jobs and then Export those finished jobs to QuickBooks to complete them.

When you perform the export of a job to QuickBooks (Desktop or Online), BizScheduler adjusts the Quantity On Hand. Here is the basic flow for an Inventory item called "Tool for Cleanup" that is used on the following job with a quantity of 2:

In QuickBooks, before exporting the job, the Quantity On Hand shows 16:

After the export, the Quantity On Hand has been adjusted by the 2 units used for the job to 14 remaining:

Once the Quantity On Hand gets to 5 or fewer, the Reorder Point will let you know that it's time to purchase more of the product so you don't run out. And you can also add product back into your inventory, in the form of a credit entry as a line item on a job. If another job was created for this customer with a quantity of -1, then the Quantity On Hand would be adjusted to 15.
