BizScheduler Design

Basic Architecture:

BizScheduler, and all of your data, runs on our servers housed in a secure data center. Once your database is created and configured, you can reach your data from anywhere in the world that you have an Internet connection. Though a high speed connection is strongly recommended, you can even run your BizScheduler over a dial-up connection. Just remember that you will need an added measure of patience.

Your BizScheduler is designed to be a multi-user system, with no practical limit to the number of users. You can take advantage of this in many ways, as you will see as you continue through your training.

Security:

The first screen you come to using BizScheduler allows you to log in. In order to log into BizScheduler you must have a valid user name and password and be an active worker in your database. Your supervisor can provide you with this.

BizScheduler uses only secure, encrypted connections for your data, embracing the same technology used by the banking, medical, and other security demanding industries. And in case you forget to log out when you leave your computer, the session you are running is automatically closed after a pre-set period of inactivity.

Backups:

One of the hardest computer lessons any small business can face is the loss of data. How often have you said you "should" back up your customer files, copies of contracts, pictures of the work you performed, as well as your work schedules. With BizScheduler, all of your data is backed up hourly during the day with a daily backup archived for secure and timely protection.

Customization:

Your business is unique. Even most franchises are influenced by the identity of the owner. But why are you unique? Because business is a reflection of the people in business, and small businesses show their unique character freely. This is not just between industries, but within them as well. That's why BizScheduler provides so many options. We believe that software should fit your business. The Setup and Configuration section of the Support Center will cover most of these customization topics for you.
