BizScheduler and Automated Clearing House Payments (ACH Payments)
You can utilize the lower rates and often faster payment receipts of Automated Clearing House Payments (ACH Payments). There are just a few settings that you will need to have in place for this feature to work.
Settings for ACH Payments
Make sure that the ACH Payments section is able to be displayed on your Customer records:
- Click the Configuration Options link under the Setup / Configuration section of the Hub
- Make sure that the Hide ACH Info is set to No
Make sure that your Workers have the right permissions set:
- Click the Workers link under the Tools section of the Hub
- Make sure that any workers who need to set the ACH info for a customer is given permission to the ACH full access under the Misc section.
Customer Settings
For any customer that will be paying with an ACH transaction, go to their Customer record and enter the Routing Number, Account Number, and Account Type. Once these are saved for your customer you will be able to utilize the ACH Payment option for completing their jobs.
Processing ACH Payments
When the services for a job have been finished and you are ready to set the payment information, you will see an option for ACH (e-Check) in the Payment Type section of the Job screen. As with any other payment type, simply click the blue arrow at the left of the ACH (e-Check) field to copy the Actual total from the job into the field. Then process your payment through the Accounting Report as usual to facilitate the ACH payment.
